A warm welcome to the oldest pub in Portishead!

A public house since the 1640's, The Poacher is the oldest pub in Portishead. We serve great food, good wine and fine real ales. We have a large beer garden with an aviary and a large, well-lit car park.

Reopened from 14th December 2010 With Ian & Zoe Clarke as the new tenants, The Poacher has been entered into the Good Beer Guide for 2010, 2011 and now has a regularly changing real ale selection. It has recently been awarded the prestigious 'CaskMarque' Accreditation For its Real Ale.
